Terms and Conditions for Devizes Musical Theatre Ticketed Events
1. Ticket Purchase and Attendance
1.1 By purchasing a ticket for a Devizes Musical Theatre (hereinafter referred to as “DMT”) event, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
1.2 Tickets for DMT events are non-transferable and may not be resold.
1.3 Attendees must adhere to the specified age restrictions for each event, as indicated on the ticketing platform and promotional materials.
1.4 Latecomers may be admitted at the discretion of DMT and venue staff, and seating for late arrivals is not guaranteed.
2. Denial of Access
2.1 DMT reserves the right to eject any individual from the event premises without refund, at its sole discretion, for reasons including but not limited to:
(a) Behavior deemed disruptive, unruly, or threatening to the safety and enjoyment of other attendees and performers.
(b) Failure to comply with the instructions or requests of DMT or venue staff.
(c) Suspected intoxication or substance abuse.
(d) Possession of prohibited items, including but not limited to weapons, illegal substances, and recording devices.
(e) Conflict of interest or ill feeling that may compromise the integrity of the event or disrupt the experience for others including cast, crew and/or other members of the public.
(f) Any other breach of these terms and conditions or applicable laws and regulations.
2.2 In the event of denial of access, the ticket holder will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price only. DMT shall not be liable for any further expenses incurred by the ticket holder, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or booking fees.
3. Ticket Refunds
3.1 Ticket refunds will only be issued in accordance with the DMT refund policy, which may vary depending on the circumstances of the event cancellation or the ticket holder’s request.
3.2 Refund requests must be submitted to DMT within the specified timeframe, as communicated through the ticketing platform or official DMT channels.
3.3 Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, and processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
4. Event Changes and Cancellations
4.1 DMT reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, including but not limited to date, time, venue, and programming, without prior notice.
4.2 In the event of cancellation or significant changes to the event, DMT will make reasonable efforts to notify ticket holders and provide alternative arrangements or refunds as appropriate.
5. Liability
5.1 Attendees participate in DMT events at their own risk, and DMT shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense incurred by attendees, except to the extent caused by DMT’s negligence or breach of these terms and conditions.
5.2 DMT shall not be liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the event premises.
6. Governing Law
6.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
6.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
7. Amendment of Terms and Conditions
7.1 DMT reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notification.
