On the 21st October 1965, Devizes Musical Theatre (formerly named ‘Devizes Light Operatic Society’) was born. A society committed to the arts, with an emphasis on fun, team work and a love for all things musical, since 1965 ‘DMT’ has grown into the talented, passionate and friendly society that it is today.
The society performs two full scale productions each year with a number of concerts and showcases alongside these. In two sections; youth (‘DMT Footlights’) or adult, whether you are aged 8 or 80 we have something for you! On stage, behind the scenes or front of house alike, we are always keen to welcome new people.
